RPET or Rajasthan pre-Engineering Test is conducted for admission to B. Tech / Bachelor’s in Engineering courses in various engineering colleges in Rajasthan. RPET is conducted by Board of Technical Education, Jodhpur, Rajasthan. RPET score is valid in both government and private unaided technical institutes in Rajasthan except BITS Pilani, MNIT Jaipur and other Deemed Private Universities) for the session 2013-2014. RPET is also known as RPETEAP that stands for “Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture and Pharmacy”.
RPET was conducted on May 26, 2013. RPET is the state's official engineering state entrance examination and is taken by students all over Rajasthan. The engineering colleges in Rajasthan give admission basis RPET exam. However, admission to engineering colleges in Rajasthan is open to students on all India basis as well. Students who have given the JEE (Mains) exam 2013 are also eligible to apply to Rajasthan engineering colleges.
Students who have cleared the test should fill in the online option/ online option cum application forms for admission through the official website. Here is a deadline that students from Rajasthan and other states should follow in order to take admission.

- Date of commencement for filling of the Online Application cum Option Form: June 10, 2013
- Date of closure for filling of the Online Application cum Option Form: June 21, 2013
