Revised rates of examination fee of University of Burdwan

About University of Burdwan:

The University of Burdwan, an autonomous state university located in West Bengal was founded by West Bengal Govt. in 1960 with six graduate departments and thirty undergraduate colleges spread over five districts that come under the jurisdiction of the university. University offers both the regular and distance education in Arts, Commerce and Social Science. Admission to Burdwan is highly competitive. A national level entrance exam named WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance examination) conducts by the University for the selection of students every year. University has 139 affiliated colleges including degree colleges, B.Ed. colleges and private professional institutes. Postgraduate students in engineering are admitted through GATE. This university has a Directorate of Distance Education (DDE,BU) for conducting post graduate studies in distance mode which is helpful for those who can’t undergo regular courses. The courses for distance education are affiliated by UGC.

New rates will be applicable for the coming session as the department of Controller Examination under University of Burdwan has revised the exam fees of theoretical and practical exams. The Executive Council has approved the proposal by December 26, 2012 for the revision of exam fee of B.A/BSC/B.Com Honours/Genera/Vocational examination 2013.
