RESULTS KE BAAD

Results are never just the student's concern. Baajuwali aunty, papa ke office wale friend whose son passed 12th before you and of course that bua or mausi you haven't seen in a decade or even heard of would all want to know how well(or not) you've done. It's so annoying that we had to put all the phones on the silent mode as since results I am getting more than 30 calls a day from my wellwishers(about whom i am pretty sure they never wished well for me). So I have avoided most of the calls and asked my parents to take care of it because i dont want to get upset as between congratulatory calls there would be calls asking 'itne hi kyun aye'. I am not in the mood to answer why i scored less than the topper or why i am not the school topper. 

 

The only time your neighbours and relatives are concerned about you is the time the board exam results are announced, although i am not among the top scorers of my school, I am pretty happy with my results. But since the result day, the phone has been ringing, and taunts and comparisons are making me upset. My parents are ok with my result but my neighbours and relatives are not.
