Government Pharmacy Institute, Bariatu, Ranchi is the only Government Institute under the Ministry of Health, Medical education and Family welfare, Government of Jharkhand. The Institute is approved by All India Council of Technical Education and Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi. The Institute offers Diploma in Pharmacy for which the admission is done by Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Government of Jharkhand, Ranchi for which the minimum qualification is intermediate with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics.
