Remote Controlled Aircraft Design and Manufacturing Workshop by IIT, Bombay

An intensive level workshop was conducted by Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay at the premises of New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore in the month of December 2013.

In collaboration with New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore and "Aerotrix", part of Skyfi labs, Zephyr-IIT Bombay had successfully conducted "Remote Controlled Aircraft Design and Manufacturing Workshop" on December 27-18, 2013, in the campus of New Horizon College of Engineering, Bangalore.

The event was sponsored by "Boeing".

This is a highly subsidized workshop conducted as part of Zephyr -IIT Bombay zonal level competition of "National Aero-modelling competition" organised by Boeing across the country. We feel that Bangalore - the hub of Aerospace Industry in India.

Zephyr-IIT Bombay is the largest student aviation festival, going to be held on February 9, 2014 in IIT- Bombay Campus, with the aim of promoting aviation among the student community in India.

Zephyr is a combo of Aerospace related competitions(RC plane-Aero-modelling, Water Rocketry, junkyard Wars, Chuck Gliders), certified workshops (Ansys-CFD, Quadrotor's etc), lectures and panel discussions from eminent personalities, exhibitions from across the globe.

This year Zephyr brings you some of the coolest interactive workshops from the world of aerospace ranging right from paper plane to ornithopter.

Zephyr will be also hosting some of the coolest and the most dedicated aerospace college challenges in India this time.Housing the remote controlled air bots challenge and some fun-filled on the spot events, this year Zephyr bring your favourite contests lined up along with some new added ones.
