Registration Dates for FMS MBA prog. extended to 20th Dec 2011

The Admissions Desk of FMS (Faculty of Management Studies), Delhi today confirmed with click4college that the last date for registration for its MBA (two-year, full-time) & PhD programmes has been extended to 20th Dec 2011.

According to the notification released earlier the last date for registrations was 30th Nov 2011. But there was a heavy inflow of traffic for last-minute online registrations on 30th Nov 2011 that slowed down the online registration system. This prevented many applicants from completing their application.

“Over 4,000 students tried to complete the online registration on the last day, leading to the payment gateway slowing down. We’ve extended the dates so the problem can be fixed, and we’re expecting more than 45,000 students to register by December 20 for admission to a total of 226 seats,” said Dr Pankaj Sinha, Admissions Coordinator for FMS.

 As of 30th Nov 2011, 38000 candidates had already registered for the MBA (two-year, full-time) & PhD programmes.
