Ravenshaw University, Department of Commerce and School of Commerce will arranged a national seminar on the subject of Insurance (Emerging trends, challenges and opportunities). The national seminar will be starting from November 29, 2015 & ending on November 30, 2015.
The subject of the seminar is insurance, which will cover the question pertain to emerging trends, challenges and opportunities in insurance sector. During this seminar participants will have interaction on issues relate to emerging trends in Insurance Practices in the stiff competitions and adherence to transparency aspects. The Insurance national seminar will invite prominent personalities from the insurance and commerce field for discussing topics like Rural Insurance Services, Health Insurance Services, Role of IRDA, Investment Management and LIC, New Concepts in Product Development etc.

- Investment Aspect, which include Investment Management and other Insurance Services, Consumer Protection and Financial Education in India, FDI in Insurance Sector etc.
About the University
Ravenshaw University was incepted on the 15th day of November, 2006. The University was an revamped of Ravenshaw College, which was commenced in 1868. The university is located at Cuttack, Odisha, on the east coast of India. Ravenshaw University approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). Presently University has 9 colleges under its roof imparting progressive education for the tomorrow leaders.
