About Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission 2012:

Polytechnic Institutes in India not only provides technical education to young aspirants but also raise technical strength required by a nation in order to enhance its growth. The institutes provide technical training to young students and help them in choosing a career in technical fields like engineering and non-engineering enhancing the scope of cottage industry in India.

Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) of Rajasthan helps lakhs of students by holding a state level admission procedure on the basis of merit. There are various government and private institutes affiliated to the Directorate providing technical training to young students each year.


Eligibility Criteria:

• A candidate is required to pass his/her 10th standard with a minimum aggregate of 35%.
• Kashmiri migrants disabled or ex serviceman will get admission on the basis of personal interview which is held at central admission & principal Govt. polytechnic college Ajmer.

Application Procedure:

A student can apply for Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission either offline or online.


Offline:
 

• Application form and OMR option form will be available at select branches of ICICI bank on payment of Rs. 300 (by cash) and Rs.350 (by post).
• The students shall fill the application form and option form and should submit the same to a coordinator, i.e. central admission and Principal of Govt Polytechnic College Ajmer. The admission is done on the basis of computerized merit list.

Online:

Students can apply online for Rajasthan Polytechnic College.
 

• After filling the online form the candidates need to take the printout along with the bank challan.
• The application fee of Rs 300 has to be submitted at the nearest ICICI bank through the challan form.
• The printout of the online form along with all the documents mentioned along with the challan should be submitted to Sanyojak, Kendriya Praves & Pradhanacharya, Government Polytechnic College, Jodhpur by Registered / Speed Post or personally.

About the admission:

The Directorate of Technical Education was set up by the State Government in August 1956 after the recommendation of AICTE. DTE acts as a link between State Government and Engineering colleges. DTE plans, organizes and executes the programme for technical education. The polytechnic institutes are spread all over the Rajasthan providing technical training to students in Information Technology, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Fiber Optics.
