Punjab Chief Minister has launched scholarship programme for Chandigarh University

To promote the spirit of merit and rewarding the young and brilliant minds, S. Parkash Singh Badal, Chief Minister Punjab has launched “Super Achiever Scholarship” program of Chandigarh University for the aspiring Engineers on June 11, 2013. An amount of Rs. 9 crore has been traited for “Super Achiever Scholarship” program under which Chandigarh University would admit 165 students per year joining various streams of Engineering and Business Management, taking the total number of students taking benefit of the scholarship program to 630.

To avail this facility University would invite online applications from the students who have appeared in JEE-2013 (mains) in case of Engineering admissions and graduate students who have appeared in CAT/MAT/CMAT-2013 for MBA admissions for which registration would be done on Chandigarh University website www.chandigarhuniversity.ac.in

Eligibility criteria to avail the Super Achiever Scholarship at Chandigarh University

• Students having CAT/MAT 2013 score would be entitled to get scholarship benefits.

• Any student having state rank upto 500 in his/her respective state merit list prepared by JEE would get 100% tuition fee waiver during their engineering studies at Chandigarh University under the “Super Achiever” policy

• Student having state rank upto 1000 would be entitled to get 50 % fee waiver

• In case of MBA, any student having CAT percentile scores of 70 and above would get 100% tuition fee waiver, while those scoring percentile scores of 80 and above in MAT/CMAT would be entitled to get 100% fee waiver benefit

• Student who has secured 90% or more in their respective 10+2 board examinations would also be eligible for Scholarship benefits

“Super Achievers Scholarship” program would attract talented and brilliant young minds all over the country as they can avail all the facilities during their academic stay at Chandigarh University start from study materials, higher education, placement in top most MNCs, all would be taken care by the University. The classes would be held separately for the 150 selected Engineering and 15 MBA meritorious students and Research based training as per the Industry requirements would be imparted to them.
