PSUs to Hire Trainee Engineers Using GATE 2015 Scores

Following last year’s trend, several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs) have announced that they will offer placements to students based on GATE 2015 scores.

This year, a number of PSUs will recruit trainee engineers for various engineering specializations using GATE 2015 scores.

Among the organizations offering placements include the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), National Hydro Power Corporation (NHPC Limited), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC Limited), Coal India Limited, GAIL (India) Limited, Power Grid Corporation of India, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL), Neyveli Lignite Corporation (NLC) as well as Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL).

The last date to register online for GATE 2015 examination has been extended from the earlier date of October 1 to October 14, 2014. Candidates need to visit the GATE Online Application Processing System (GOAPS) website for Enrolment, Application Filling and Application Submission.

The GATE exam will be conducted on 31st January, 1st, 7th, 8th and 14th February, 2015.

The scores you obtain in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2015 (GATE 2015) will be valid for a period of 3 years only from the date of declaration of results.

Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT Kanpur) is the organizing institute for GATE 2015.
