Also known as PSEB or Punjab Board, Punjab School Education Board is responsible for administering and conducting secondary level examinations on a yearly basis in the state. Some Important Features and Facts about the Punjab School Education Board

1.      Punjab School Education Board was set up in 1969 under a legislative act of the Government of Punjab. According to the act, the state education board is appointed to administer the curriculum taught in public schools and conduct standardised examinations in the state.

About three lakh students appeared in the Punjab Board class 10th examinations in 2022. Last year, the total percentage of students clearing Punjab Board class 10th examinations was over 90%. This was the first time for Punjab Board 10th result to achieve the feat. This year, the passing percentage is expected to rise to 95%.
