A project grant was awarded to ISF College of Pharmacy. Young Scientist, Dr. Puneet Kumar Bansal from ISF College of Pharmacy, Moga received a grant of 23 Lac from the Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi under the Fast Track Scheme for his project on the “Role of Neurotransmitters in the Pathophysiology of Parkinson Disease and Huntington’s disease - Possible Drug Targets”.
In first installment, DST issued 12 lac for starting the research work in project and followed by the recent second installment of 4 lac, considering the fast and fruitful progress of the project.
Mr. Parveen Garg, Chairman of Institute congratulates Dr. Bansal on his achievement and success, and told that many more projects have been funded by the Govt. funding agencies like AICTE, DST, DBT, ICMR and DRDO to this institute.
He also wished him good luck for his efforts to find new medicine for these diseases, which will helpful to mankind. Dr. R.K. Narang told to the reporters that Dr. Bansal had design and sent his project to DST, New Delhi and was approved with 23 lac grant. Out of which second installment of 4 lac has been received recently.
