Professional Courses in Ranchi University

The students from Jharkhand and nearby areas enjoy the facility of professional courses in its capital city, Ranchi. The Vice-Chancellor of Ranchi University announced six professional courses to be started for the academic session 2010 – 2014 at Doranda College. This is the first college in the vicinity offering these courses. The courses include:

1. Rural Development
2. Fashion Designing
3. Computer Application
4. Information Technology
5. E- Commerce
6. Banking

 Students already pursuing B.A/B.Sc/B.Com undergraduate degree can apply for these courses, which are available as a Diploma (2 years) or a Certificate (1 year) course. Students who have already taken admission commencing 2010 are also eligible to apply. These courses will be provided alongside the regular degree course which the students are pursuing and will be an added advantage to them when they finally graduate.

The eligibility criteria to enroll in any of these courses are 10 + 2 marks, which will be determined by the college authorities.
