Pre Medical Test (PMT) 2012 for Admission to MBBS, BAMS, BDS & B. Pharma Courses by Banaras Hindu University (BHU): Admission Notification

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the Central Universities in India. It aims at promoting learning and research in all branches of Arts and Sciences.

BHU invites applications for Pre-Medical Entrance Exam (PMT) 2012 for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS and B.Pharm courses.

Eligibility for BHU PMT 2012

• You must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) as main subjects.
• You should be of 17 years of age but not more than 25 years of age as on 31st December 2012.

For MBBS/ BDS/ BAMS: You should have minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% for General-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC/SC/ST and respective PC candidates in 10+2.

For B.Pharm.: You should have minimum of 60% marks for General / OBC and respective PC candidates and 55% marks for SC/ST and respective PC candidates in 10+2.
 

• You can apply for BHU PMT 2012 if you are appearing for qualifying examination and waiting for result.

You can obtain application forms for BHU PMT 2012:

1. By Cash

You can obtain BHU PMT 2012 application form by paying Rs. 1500/- for General/OBC category and Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST category from following branches of Bank of Baroda:

2. By Post

• You can get BHU PMT 2012 application form by sending a request through Registered Post with a crossed Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque (MICR only) of Rs. 1600/- for General/OBC candidates and Rs. 1100 for SC/ST candidates of a Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of “The Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU” payable at Varanasi.
• You should attach two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm ´ 6 cm size with request for application form for BHU PMT 2012.
• Your request for application form must include your complete name and address and all particulars of Demand Draft or Bankers Cheque attached.
• The requisition for PMT Application Form should be super scribed “Request for Application Form for PMT-2012, BHU”.
• You can obtain BHU PMT 2012 application form by post from

Last Date to obtain BHU PMT 2012 application form through Post: 27th February, 2012

Last Date for receipt of Form: 15th March, 2012

PMT 2012 Screening: 16th May, 2012 (Wednesday) at Varanasi, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad

PMT 2012 Main: 17th June, 2012 (Sunday) at Varanasi Centre only
