Placement result out at Swami Vivekanad College of Engineering

IMPETUS Technologies had visited the campus of Swami Vivekanand College of Engineering to conduct the placement session from October 30 to November 1, 2013. And it is their pleasure to announce that 2 students from the campus have been selected by the company.

IMPETUS Technologies is a privately held technology company specializing in software product development, and technology research and development services. Founded in 1991 by Praveen Kankariya, Impetus is headquartered in Los Gatos, California with Development centres in Noida, Indore and Bangalore.

The core focus of the company is on software product development and technology R&D services. Impetus provides offerings in software architecture and design, development, test engineering, performance engineering, sustenance and support.
Impetus has been involved in hundreds of product launches for its global client base since its inception.

The company works in domains including mobile and wireless, digital media, performance marketing, internet advertising, network security, telecom, finance, healthcare, supply chain management, CRM, and collaboration management. The company is also focused on emerging technologies in mobility, Big Data, SaaS, cloud computing, social media, product testing, and performance engineering.

Impetus provides tools, frameworks, and reusable components that aim to reduce the time required for application development. Some of these include iLeap, a generic keyword driven test automation framework and m-360, a set of frameworks intended to create mobile products with less development time and effort. Impetus' R&D division is called Innovation Labs.

Total 205 students from 5 different colleges participated in the drive out of which 42 students were from SVCE. Total 47 students had been shortlisted in written test, 5 students were made the offers and 2 out of 5 are from SVCE got selected in IMPETUS.
