Placement Initiatives of HMR Institute of Technology and Management

HMR Institute of Technology and Management is a renowned name in the field of management and technical studies. Founded in 2003, college is ISO 9001-2008 certified and AICTE approved for its various courses. I was also graded A by GGSIPU.

HMRITM offered undergraduate course in Engineering in IT, CSE, ECE, EEE, MAE and postgraduate courses like MBA and MCA.

College also offers excellent placement through its Placement Cell by placed the students in reputed companies across India.

Its placement cell is always ready to guide and to prepare the students for their placement season. In this regards it organizes training sessions, workshops, events, guest lectures, internships, pre placement/ final placement for the students etc.

In 2012-13 placement cell organized various industrial visits, invited talks, training on latest technologies, personality development programme to boost up their knowledge and to furnish a pleasant personality as well.

On April 26-27 College had organized an industrial visit of EEE& ECE students to Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL). On March they went to Efacel MV India Pvt. Ltd. These kinds of visits help the students to grab the practical knowledge of the industry. Moreover, through various talks by expert students get to know about the experience of their lives and also get the chance to interact with these experts. Experts also deliver lectures on latest technologies, growing challenges and anything that related to the studies which in return help the students to gain extra knowledge.

To join an organization it’s mandatory to have a pleasant personality along with the other qualifications. This includes softskills development, etiquettes, communication skills, sitting etiquettes etc. These all are very important to successfully clear an interview. In PSU/Govt sectors, at the time f interview there will be a penal of members judging the candidate on the basis of his outer appearance. So, personality development is most important. In this regard HMRIT’s placement cell organizes personality development programme every year as pre placement training.
