Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) was established by Punjab University to offer legal education with distant and continuing legal education at all levels. The university also aims to promote research in all branches of law.
RGNUL invites applications for admission to full-time as well as part- time Ph.D. in Law and Ph.D. in Social Science with Law for academic session starting in 2012.
Eligibility for Ph.D. 2012 from RGNUL
Eligibility criteria for Ph.D. in Law and Ph.D. in Social Science with Law are different.
Eligibility for Ph.D. in Law 2012 from RGNUL
- You should have scored a minimum of 55% in Master of Laws (LL.M.) from any recognized university
- You should have M.Phil. in Law with B+ grade or its equivalent.
Eligibility for Ph.D. in Social Science with Law from RGNUL
- You should have scored a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Social Science subject relevant to the field of research and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.)
- You should have scored a minimum of 55% in Master’s Degree in Social Science subject relevant to the research and established research credentials
- You should have Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) with B+ grade or its equivalent in law or relevant social science subject with a good academic record
- You should have passed Company Secretaryship Examination conducted by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI), New Delhi and have been awarded Associate Membership of the Institute (ACS)
- You should have passed Chartered Accountants Examination conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and should be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Delhi.
