PESIT is now a PES University

PESIT, which was earlier known as People's Education Society Institute of Technology (PESIT)  has now gained University status. In its new role, it will be known as PES University from henceforth. The Government of Karnataka has provided the official status of Private University for the institutions and here on PESIT is called as PES University.

2014 onwards, the students who wish to join PES University need to take up the entrance test conducted by PES University. The test will be conducted across the Nation on different dates for admission at both Under Graduate and Post Graduate level.

The dates of the test will be announced soon and interested students and parents can follow PES University on www.pes.edu  for further information and updates.

“The entrance test will be of online mode and if students need to get into PES University must take up the PESSAT (entrance test). This applies to all the courses offered at our university. PESSAT registrations for students to take up the test will open on Jan 5, 2014, our website will furnish all the details” said Prof. D Jawahar, Chief Executive Officer - PES Institutions.

PESSAT registration starts from January 5, 2014. Test dates will be on May 3-18, 2014. It will be held in 20 districts of Karnataka and in 20 tier 1 cities outside Karnataka across India. For more information please visit www.pes.edu .

Meanwhile, PES University in association with ipomo is giving an opportunity for students to assess their preparedness effectively just by clicking away the smart phone! For the first time in India, PES University in association with ipomo has launched ‘Prep Meter’ service, a mobile learning platform, which allows students to evaluate their level of preparedness for the above entrance exam.

With increasing level of competition for limited number of seats, students spend sleepless nights studying and preparing for the entrance exams. Studying alone does not guarantee success, as securing a good rank is critical. For this, one must also simultaneously know the level of preparedness, strengths and weaknesses and structure the revision for the exam based on these parameters.
