The Faculty of Fine Arts, Jamia Millia Islamia University organized an Art Exhibition of Paintings called “Outlier” curated by Fulbright‐Nehru Scholar Ms. Katherine Sullivan.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Prof. S.M. Sajid, Hon’ble Vice‐Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia on April 16, 2014 at 5.00 p.m. at M.F Hussain Art Gallery, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Mr. David Mees, Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of United States of America (USA) was the Guest of Honour on this occasion. The exhibition was live till April 22, 2014.
Entitles as ‘Outlier’ it was an intensive level painting exhibition which showcased the works of various artist.
This kind of activity works as a medium for those who are looking for new exposures. People get the chance to interact with different people and also can share their experience and work and this can be a great platform to explore new things.
