Overview of GATE 2016 Syllabus

GATE score is very important for those candidates, who aspire to pursue higher education in Engineering, Technology, and Architecture as well as Science in the top institutes of India. GATE exam is conducted jointly by seven IITs (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee) and Indian Institute of Science. The candidates, who have qualified in the GATE exam, are provided financial assistance by MHRD and other government agencies.

Those who are planning for joining post-graduate education programs such as Master of Engineering, Master of Technology, and Doctor of Philosophy must appear for the GATE 2022 exam and knowing the syllabus is very important. The GATE 2022 syllabus will consist of all the subjects that the candidates have studied in the qualifying exam. It has been specified by IISc Bangalore that the syllabus will be according to the new format of GATE Exam, which will consist of 23 papers, unlike last year that had 22 papers. The 2022 GATE syllabus might be a little different for some of the papers. The candidates must go through the syllabus thoroughly.
