OJEE 2015: Crucial Dates and Information

The Employment and Technical Education & Training (ETET) Department, Government of Odisha is going to conduct the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination 2015 (OJEE 2015) for candidates seeking admission into the B.Tech. / MBBS / BDS / MBA / MCA /MCA Dual Degree/ MAM /Architecture /Pharmacy/ PGAT/ PGDM/ PGCM/ PGDM [Executive] / M.Tech / M.Pharm / M. Arch in state Colleges (Both private and Govt.). Aspirants can apply online from 15th January, 2015 to 5th March, 2015.

Eligibility Criteria:

For first year degree courses in Pharmacy, BAMS and BHMS:-

Pharmacy:

Passed or appearing in 2014, 10+2 examination of CHSE Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following  subjects (Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational Subject) . The candidate should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.

There is no age limit to appear at OJEE for admission into Pharmacy courses.

For BHMS and BAMS:-

Passed 10+2 in Science or appearing in 2014 examination of CHSE Odisha or equivalent, with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany and Zoology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) for general category candidates and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates.

Age:-

• The minimum age is 17 years as on December 31 of the year of admission.
• The upper age shall be 25 years as on December 31 of the year of admission.
• The upper age limit may be relaxed by five years for SC/ST candidates.

For MCA:-

Passed or appearing for the Bachelor’s Degree examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any university of Odisha or from a deemed university as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level or at graduate level. Business Mathematics as a subject at +2 level is not permitted. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying Examination.

If the candidate has passed BCA with mathematics as a subject, he/she may appear for the entrance test without Mathematics at 10+2 level. There is no age limit for admission to MCA course.

For admission to MBA/PGDM/PGCM/PGDM (Executive):-

Passed or appearing for Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy examination of minimum four / five years duration in any discipline from any university of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC/AICTE. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination.

There is no age limit to for admission to MBA / PGDM course.

For M.Tech (Regular):-

Passed or appearing in Bachelor’s Degree examination in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination.

For M.Pharm:-

Passed or appearing for Bachelor’s Degree examination or equivalent in Pharmacy from any university of Odisha or from an AICTE approved institute or from a recognized university as defined by UGC.

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination. There is no age limit to for admission to M.Pharm course.

For M.Arch:-

Passed or appearing for Bachelor’s Degree examination in the relevant field in Architecture from any University of Odisha or from an AICTE approved Institute or from a recognized university as defined by UGC.

The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) at the qualifying examination.
