An incident took place on August 24, 2013 at Assam Medical College and Hospital, Assam, which led the campus to a panic situation. All started with sudden attack on 3 medical students to injury them grievously by some outsiders, inside the AMCH campus.
The college authorities had been informed and so had been to the nearest police outpost.
The authorities had showed a lack-lustre attitude towards the incident and were trying to cover up the whole story as one of them is son of a hospital employee.
Police investigations are on. Students took out a rally with placards and banners inside the campus in August 28, 2013 which was followed by lightening of candles to show sympathy to the injured doctors and demanding justice be delivered at the earliest and the culprits to be punished.
Students are in panic and so their parents. All have put a question regarding the security in the campus.
Now question is that how management will react to this situation? Nothing can be said until police catch the guilty with red handed.
