NTSE 2017 Scholarship

The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is the examination authority for the National Talent Scholarship Examination (NTSE), which is conducted every year to award Class 10 students with NTSE scholarship.

NCERT will conduct NTSE 2022 exam Stage-I in three-day window in November, 2022 and the Stage–II NTSE exam, which is a national level exam, on 14th May, 2022.

Those who obtain NTSE scholarship, will have an advantage during NDA selection, and will enjoy discounts on high school study materials.

Apart from this, some colleges in India have seats reserved exclusively for NTSE scholars. In fact,this national-level scholarship examination can surpass admission tests of colleges and can help students gain direct entry during college admissions.

NTSE 2022 Results

The Stage-I NTSE results 2022 will be announced in February 2022 on the respective websites of the states.

Every state will declare NTSE Stage–I result separately and all the state level NTSE qualified students will then be eligible to appear for NTSE stage –II exam (national-level)

NTSE stage-II results 2022 will be announced in July 2022 after the exam conducted in May.

NTSE Selection Procedure

Only applicants who will score qualifying marks in both NTSE Stage – I exam and NTSE Stage – II exam will be selected for the NTSE scholarship.

NTSE Scholarship 2022

Candidates who will qualify in both the stages of NTSE exam, will be awarded with NTSE scholarship.

NCERT provides 1000 scholarships every year, out of which 15% are reserved for SC category students, 7.5% for ST students and 3% for Physically Challenged group of students.

Also, awardees have to secure an aggregate of 60% marks or equivalent grade in order to be eligible for scholarship every year.
