NSUI Kullu Organises Tree Plantation Drive in the Memory of Rajiv Gandhi

The nation on Saturday came together to remembered and celebrate former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s 72nd birth anniversary with President Pranab Mukherjee and other leaders paying tributes to him. The members of NSUI in Himachal Pradesh also celebrated the day by planting trees on his memory.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Government Degree College, Kullu participated enthusiastically in the drive. Balak Ram, the campus president of NSUI Kullu in his speech memorised the contribution of Rajiv Gandhi during his time towards the nation and said if today he would alive, the nation would be counted among the most powerful countries in the world. His contributions can never be denied. He was the true leader who took the country to the next level. Unfortunately, he is not among us and it is our great lose.

 

General Secretary Saurav Thakur, Distt. President Yogi Thakur, ex campus President Bayant Thakur also gave tribute to the legendary person.
