Sports Authority of India through its Academic Wing NSNIS, Patiala, conducts Six-Week Certificate Course in Sports Coaching in Summer and Winter every year at SAI Centers
The course will be conducted in different SAI centres and universities at Patiala, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Mumbai, Aurangabad, Rohtak, Hyderabad, SRM University, KIIT University, Banaras Hindu University, Singhania University. The course welcomes both men and women working in schools, colleges, universities and industrial houses and other agencies associated with sports.
Application Form:
- Interested candidate can obtain the application form from the office of the in-charge (Academics), Sports Authority of India, Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports.
- The application form also can be downloaded from the official website of NSNIS. However, the last date for submitting the application form is over now.
The Course at a Glance:
- Course duration: Six weeks
- Educational qualification: minimum 10+2 pass
- Sports achievements: preference will be given to 1st, 2nd, 3rd position holders in district championship of individual and team games/sports Or those who participate in state championship of individual and team sports
- Age: 20-40 years as on May 16, 2022. However, relaxation in upper age limit up to five years is applicable in case of ST/SC and candidates belonging to North-East region
