NRI/PIO/SFFS admission 2014 at BIT, Mesra

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra has invited applications from the Non Resident Indian (NRI), Person of Indian Origin (PIO) and Self Financing Foreign Student (SFFS) categories to following full-time UG, PG and Integrated programmes offered by the Institute.
 
 
Eligibility criteria:
 
  • The candidate must be Son or Daughter of an NRI / a PIO / or a foreign national, and / or must have obtained prescribed qualification from a School / College located abroad Or
  • The candidate must have stayed abroad for at least five years during the preceding eight years from the year of admission or
  • The candidate must be citizen of a foreign land holding a valid passport issued by that country. These candidates shall pay prescribed fee in USD or equivalent 
  • The candidate must have a duly valid Certificate indicating NRI / PIO / Foreign Student status issued by a competent authority
  • Candidate must have adequate proficiency in written & spoken English to cope with the programmes as all instruction and examinations will be in English only.
 
How to apply:
 
To apply for the programme of your interest, candidate must fill and complete the application form and submit the completed form with 2 recent colour photographs (one pasted on the form at the position indicated and one attached by clip to the form), along with photocopies of all relevant certificates, completed letters of recommendation and the requisite application fee at the address given below. 
Candidates should attach at least two letters of recommendation (mandatory for applicants to Postgraduate Programmes and desirable for applicants to Undergraduate Programmes).
