Notice for Summer Internship Programme at DTU

Delhi Technological University (DTU), New Delhi has notified the students of engineering institutes/universities to apply for Summer Internship Programme for various departments. 

The departments are as under:

• Applied Chemistry
• Applied Mathematics
• Applied Physics
• Bio-technology
• Civil Engineering
• Computer Science and Engineering
• Delhi School of Management
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
• Environment Engineering
• Humanities
• Mechanical Engineering

Application Process for Summer Internship Programme:

• Students from any Engineering college/institute may be accepted for summer internship provided the Supervisor and the concerned HOD agrees to provide the training and facilities in the department.
• For admission to Summer Internship Programme of respective Academic Year, candidates need to download the application form from the DTU website under the heading Academics and send the filled application form to the concerned faculty of the concerned department/centre.
• The candidate has to send the brief description of the project along with the application form.
• The faculty has to give consent to provide summer internship to the candidate and submit the form in the department/centre. A faculty can take only one candidate for the summer internship provided faculty is available at the station during the summer vacation.
• The students from other IITs and staff wards will be over and above.
• A bench fee of Rs. 5000/ per month per students be charged by the DTU from the students/sponsoring Institute (s).
• The charges for hostel rent and mess will be extra as per norms if such facility is available and provided.
• The department/centre will send the recommendation to Dean Academics, every Academic year.
• The selection of candidates for summer internship will be done centrally in every academic year to ensure good candidates come for the summer internship.
• The faculty supervisor will give the training certificate only, after satisfactory completion of the learning.
