Notice for Digital Payment by Periyar Management and Computer College

Periyar Management and Computer College has decided to adopt "Digital Payment - Cashless Campus", the order is this regard has been issued for students, faculty and staff (enclosed). The college has also requested the Canteen and other vendors to go cashless.

Under Government of India, Vittya Saksharata Abhiyan (VISAKA), the students are requested to participate in this mission and to select and train on digital modes of payment to their family members and at least 10 select households

For Students as volunteers, you need to do the following:

Step-1:  For registering as Volunteer, please send "Yes" in reply to this email by December 20.

Step-2: Identify 10 households, inform your family members on training and digital modes of payment, and intimate the college in reply to this email by December 20.

Step-3: Work on teaching your family members and the (10 selected households December 20 –January 12)

Step-4: Send report of a number of your family members and select household trained and how they are using digital modes of payment along with some photo as per deadlines are given below. The progress report in reply to this email (number of family members and selected households trained with some photo is to be sent as under.

Progress Report-1: December 23, 2022

Progress Report-2: January 4, 2022

Progress Report-3: January 12, 2022

The students are requested to volunteer for this mission and help the country to go cashless (digital modes of payment).
