North East Students' Festival in Delhi University

Delhi University plans to organize a “Northeast Students Festival” today with the intent to promote a special bond with students of the northeast and sensitize them about safety measures.

S.K. Vij, dean of students’ welfare, Delhi University said on Friday, "The main aim of the fest - Empowering Youth: The North East Students in Delhi University - is to make the students hailing from the region more familiar with the university system."
The Minister of State for Rural Development Agatha Sangma and S.S. Yadav, deputy commissioner of police, north Delhi will also interact with the students on safety measures.
