NITTE University, Mangalore will hold an entrance exam for admission to its post graduate medical and dental courses for the academic year 2014-15.
NITTE University All India Entrance Test for Post Graduate Medical and Dental Courses (NUPGET-2014) will be conducted on 12th January, 2014 for candidates seeking admission to MD/MS and MDS courses in its constituent colleges.

Eligibility
Candidates who fulfill the following criteria shall be eligible to appear for the Entrance Test, namely:
1. He/she is a citizen of India
2. He/she must have studied and passed courses leading to the award of Bachelor’s
Degree (MBBS or BDS as the case may be) from a college recognized by the MCI for MD/MS candidates and DCI for MDS candidates.
3. He/she has completed or is completing compulsory rotatory internship on or before 30th April, 2014.
4. Must be less than 45 years of age as on 30th April, 2014.
Entrance Test Fee
The candidates are required to pay the Entrance Test fee of Rs. 3,000/- through A/c Payee Demand Draft in favour of “Nitte University” payable at Mangalore.
Submission
The filled application with all relevant documents should be sent to the Registrar, NITTE University, Deralakatte, Mangalore (D.K) – 575 018 by Speed Post so as to reach before the last date or may be handed over in person at the University Office on any working Day before the last date. Candidates should super scribe the sealed envelope carrying application form: “Application for NUPGET-2014”.
Test Admission Ticket (TAT) for the Entrance Test will be sent by post to the postal address furnished by the candidate in the TAT.
Last date for receipt of Application by the University is 4th January, 2014.

Mode of Conducting the Test
1. Medium of Entrance Test shall be English.
2. Each question carries one mark. Correct answer will be awarded one mark. There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers.
3. Question paper (booklet) shall be of 3 hours duration consisting of 200 multiple choice questions. Subject wise distribution of questions/marks would be approximately in the range as given earlier.
4. There shall be at least 4 versions of the question paper booklet.
5. Questions shall be of multiple choice type, each having one correct/best response out of four alternatives.
6. Answer sheet (Response Sheet) is of Optical Mark Reader (OMR) type and shall be marked as per instructions on it, using a black or blue ball point pen.
