NIT Uttarakhand Opens Admissions for Various PhD Courses

The National Institute of Technology, Uttarakhand (NIT Uttarakhand) invites applications from the interested and eligible candidates for admission into Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes in various engineering courses starting from academic session 2022-17. The interested candidates need to apply through the prescribed format before August 2, 2022.

NIT Uttarakhand PhD 2022 Course Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates interested in applying for any of the NIT Uttarakhand PhD 2022 courses should possess a master’s degree in the concerned or an allied subject from a recognized institute/university (CPI or CGPA greater than 6.75 on a 10 point scale).
• A candidate should necessarily have scored 55 percent marks in aggregate.

• Candidates can download the application form from the official website and fill it neatly with the information required. The fee for application form is INR 500.
• Attach a DD of INR 500 with the duly filled application form. The DD should be issued by any nationalized bank in favour of The Director, NIT Uttarakhand, payable at Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. Candidates need to send all the documents to Assistant Registrar (Academic), NIT Uttarakhand.

NIT Uttarakhand PhD 2022 Course Selection Procedure

The eligible candidates need to appear for the written test about which the NIT Uttarakhand has fixed as August 14, 2022. Those who secure at least 40 percent marks in the written test will be called for the interview.

• Duly filled application forms should reach the NIT Uttarakhand on or before August 2, 2022.
• NIT Uttarakhand will display the list of candidates selected for the written test on its website on August 5, 2022
• Date of written test and interview is August 14, 2015.
• Date of NIT Uttarakhand PhD 2022 written test result is August 19, 2022
