NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022 - An autonomous agency of the Government of India, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is responsible for the management of a network of over 70,000 km of national highways in India. NHAI is an agency of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways. Recently, NHAI has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) for mapping of highways via satellite.

Number of Vacancies for NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022:

NHAI has announced the number of vacancies for Dy. Manager (Technical) post. NHAI intends to fill up 15 posts of Dy. Manager (Technical) via NHAI recruitment through GATE, in the Civil Engineering department.

Eligibility Criteria for NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022:

Civil Engineering:

Candidates who wish to apply for the post of Dy. Manager (Technical) via NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022 must hold a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a recognised university.

Age Limit for NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022:

The age requirements are listed below for NHAI recruitment through GATE 2022 -

• Maximum age limit for General category candidates is 35 years
• Candidates with OBC reservation receive 3 years relaxation in upper age limit, i.e. 38 years
• Candidates with ST or SC reservation receive 5 years relaxation in upper age limit, i.e. 40 years

Valid GATE Score for NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022:

The score of the candidates in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2022 will be a determining factor in the selection. The graduate engineers who are interested in taking up a career in NHAI need to appear for GATE 2022 in the relevant disciplines.

On the basis of the GATE score, candidates will then be qualified for the next selection rounds consisting of a group discussion and a personal interview to assess a candidates’ understanding of different facets, skills and attitude. Candidates have to first successfully pass the GATE 2022 examination and after that the GD and PI to make it to the selection. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of GATE score, GD and PI scores, and will as per each discipline.

Application Process for NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022:

• On receipt of GATE 2022 Score Card/mark sheet, applications in the prescribed form (as enclosed) may be sent by Registered/Speed Post to the following Address so as to reach by the prescribed last date:

• The envelope containing the application form should be superscribed with ‘Application for the post of Dy. Manager (Technical).’
• If selected for the interview, the candidates are required to furnish the attested copies of their GATE 2022 Admit Card and GATE 2022 Score Card.
• The photographs in the NHAI application must be identical to the one used in the GATE 2022 Application form and Admit Card.
• Candidates who have been selected and who have been offered the job in any department may be allowed to join NHAI only after the acceptance of their resignation & relieving by their parent office and fulfilment of other conditions of the Authority.

Salary Structure for NHAI Recruitment through GATE 2022:

The candidates will be placed in the Pay Band-3 of INR 15,600-39,100/- with Grade Pay of INR 5400/- + prevalent DA in CDA + 30% HRA or Lease Facility of INR 17800/- + Medical Facilities and other perks as per the rules of NHAI. 

The selected candidates will be on probation for one year. The candidates will be posted anywhere in India and will not be entitled to any travelling allowances for joining duty.
