The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) which was earlier scheduled for 24th April 2011, has now been postponed to 1st May 2011. The circular from CBSE states that the exam has been postponed due to Easter which falls on 24th April this year. The rest of the schedule will remain unchanged. The dates have been changed only for the offline (pen and paper format) exam. The dates for the online exam (which is being held for the first time) remain unchanged.

Date of Offline Examination: 1st May, 2011
Date of Online Examination: Online test-takers will be informed separately about the dates
Time of Examination: Paper 1: 9:30 am-12:30 pm Paper 2: 2:00 pm-5:00 pm
Declaration of Results: On or before 7th June, 2011
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to apply for the B.E/ B. Tech course, the candidate must have had Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level with any one from Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science or Biology as optional subjects. For the B. Arch/ B. Planning course, the candidate should have had Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at 10+2 level.
