NERIST 2012: Important Dates

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology was established by the Indian Government as the Science and Technology Institute. 

North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology (NERIST) was established by Indian Government as the Science and Technology institute. NERIST was founded by late Sh. Giyani Zail Singh, the former president of India, on 4th March 1984 in order to provide a system of engineering education.NERIST institute has been given the "Deemed University" status by UGC on May 31st, 2005 and it started functioning as a Deemed University from December 13th, 2005. But it was opened for students in the year 1986.

Important Dates: 

1) Availability of application forms: 1st week of February, 2012

2) Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: 1st week of March, 2012

3) Date of Entrance Tests: Mid of May, 2012
