National Workshop on Drug Designing at Integral University

Integral University is all set to organize an intensive level workshop on Drug Designing.

Dept. of Bioengineering, Faculty of Engineering, Integral University in collaboration with Bio-EGICORE, Dept. of Life-Sciences, EGICORE will organize the "First National Workshop on Computer Aided Drug Designing. Work shop has scheduled on November 9 and 10, 2013.

Structure based drug design, in silico ADME - Tox and metabolism, design and screening of virtual libraries, chem.-informatics/bioinformatics and synthetic feasibility., These topics will be covered by both methods lectures and the exercises through practical case studies. The goal of the working sessions is to create an environment that is similar to what happens inside pharmaceutical Companies today.

The team's work will be focused on rational design and will include writing reports, project status reviews, and planning events of real-life research teams, as well as in-depth work with appropriate software.

This workshop invites Graduate/ post-graduate students, professionals, faculties from Organic chemistry, Pharmacy, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Agrochemical, Microbiology, Chemical ,life sciences etc from Industries and institutions and it will benefit the most from getting hands-on experience.
