National Institute of Siddha Invites Applications for Doctor of Medicine Programme

The National Institute of Siddha (NIS), Chennai has invited applications from interested and eligible candidates for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) programme offered in various branches for the academic session 2022. Interested candidates can apply for courses on or before October 7.

NIS Admission- Important Dates

Last date of submission of the application form- October 7, 2022

Date of entrance examination- October 22, 2022

Date of Counselling- October 24, 2022

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed BIM/BSMS degree from a recognized institute or university.

How to apply?

Candidates may note that application form will be filled in offline mode only. Interested candidates must submit the NIS application form along with all the necessary documents and send it to the following address-

NIS Application Fee

For general category candidates, an application fee of INR 1250 needs to be paid to complete the registration process.

For SC/ST candidates, an application fee of INR 900 needs to be paid.

Payment of the application fee can be made through Demand Draft (DD), drawn in favour of ‘The Director, National Institute of Siddha’ payable at Chennai.

Selection Process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written examination.
