National Excellence Awards for Karunya University

The 9th ASSOCHAM (Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India) Higher Education Summit 2022 took place on February 17, 2022  in  New Delhi. The event was organised to give away national excellence awards. 

There were various categories in which the awards were categorised into and further nominated. The  selection of the best institute/ university in the country was done based on  the innovation, scalability, achievements, ability to overcome challenges and the impact potential in every category.

Karunya University bagged Two National Excellence Awards. The BEST UNIVERSITY IN SPORTS and the BEST UNIVERSITY SERVING SOCIAL CAUSE (CSR-Corporate Social Responsibilities).

Prof. (Dr) Ram Shankar Katheria, Hon'ble State Minister for Human Resource Development, Government of India handed over these awards to the Chancellor Dr. Paul Dhinakaran, Trustee Dr. Jeyakumar Daniel and Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. M. J. Xavier.

Karunya University is known for its service to humanity as it stands with a vision to solve human problems. With an attitude of serving society, the various clubs formed among the students function very effectively in reaching out to the society.

The university  takes pride in the overall development of the students. Many national players from all over India join the university under the Sports Quota. The university has an excellent sports infrastructure which also includes indoor facilities like shuttle badminton courts etc. The coaches  regularly train the students and enable them to bring laurels to the university.

The management appreciates the entire team of faculty, coaches and the students who have put in extra efforts and worked towards achieving the National Awards.
