National conference organized by Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida

It is the privilege to Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) to organize the 2nd national conference on “Emerging Trends in Intelligent Computing & Communication”. It was a national level event held on April 26-27, 2013. Focus of this conference was to bring together the researchers working on all aspects of aforesaid and related devices & solutions on human centered design of intelligent computing system & communication and technology.

Dr. Ella Kumar (Dean Engineering. G.B.U., Ph.D. - Delhi University, M.Tech.- I.I.T. in CS Department) was the Chief Guest of this event accompanied by Prof. Dr. Vivek Kumar as session speaker to this event. With a dashing personality, 58 of her research papers in international journals, national journals, international & national conferences have published till date.

Dr. Shweta Verma (H.O.D. of I.T. Department, GCET) was honoured as Convener to this event under whose guidance the entire event was conducted. It was again accompanied by various prominent staff and students whose hard work and continuous dedication proved this event as successful one. Conference had witnessed a huge gathering of around 400 students along with 108 delegates from various colleges attended this conference.

Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology is a famous institute for technical education in the northern part of India. Located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh came to existence in 1962. It also offers MBA and MCA courses. For admission in B Tech programmes, one should have 10+2 degree with Physics and Mathematics with minimum 50% marks. Chemistry/Bio-Technology /Computer Science/Biology. M Tech Candidates must have 60% marks in B Tech or 75 percent score in GATE. For MCA and MBA candidates should have Bachelor degree from recognized university in any discipline with minimum 50%. Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or Graduation level is compulsory for MCA.

Admission is based on AIEEE rank for Under Graduate, GATE score for M.Tech, for MBA there are UPSEE/CAT/MAT, and MCA is on basis of UPSEE.
