NAEMD-JOSH-Inter Collegiate Fest begins in Mumbai!

National Academy of Event Management & Development will hold Mumbai Finals for the Mr. & Ms. Academia and Student Idol contest on November 28, 2015 at Goregaon (W) and India Finale will be held on December 2015 at Bhaidas Hall, Vile Parle (W). JOSH –Inter collegiate competition across different categories will be held on December 2, 2015 at St Andrews Auditorium, Bandra (W).

Conceptualizing the event, handling production, roping in sponsors, creative concepts, bringing in celebrities, handling budgets — ensuring participation and balancing it well with academics & practical event trainings is what our next gen event managers do. Not only industry events but also college and cultural fests are what make college life interesting and exciting for students of NAEMD. It is not anymore just another activity that features in the college calendar every year. For many years now, the scale and grandeur of JOSH has just gotten bigger and better. The learning that comes from being a part of a massive experience like this is multifold.

JOSH Intercollegiate Fest has different competition categories for college teams– Bollywood Retro Mix, Fashion Show, its Retro Time, Colour Mozart and Marlyn Mason.

Mr. & Ms. Academia is a Good Looks Pageant with a difference, it embodies the spirit of youth, the educated youth. The competition stresses that the most beautiful and youthful years of one's life is spent while studying, it is here that the raw and good looking youngster gather grace, poise, class, character, knowledge and a determination to achieve. The selected Mumbai Winners who qualify for India Finals will undergo grooming sessions which are conducted by the best in the glamour world. Keyur Desai –Fashion Choreographer, Harpreet Bacher -Fashion Photography, Surabhi Prabhu-model & actor, Pratik Dixit – model & actor, Pawan Sabrawal- Fitness Expert. Contestants will also have grooming sessions by Lakme Beauty Experts and MyDentist.

Student Idol is a platform to showcase the student's Personality, Style, Talent and Popularity. It is not a beauty pageant, so the student may not be good looking but definitely needs to be talented, confident and popular for the talent he/she possess.
