The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra has announced that the results of Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MT-CET 2013) will be announced today, 5th June, 2013
The test was conducted on 16th May, 2013. On the basis of the results of the test, students get admission in the first year of four year full time degree courses in Engineering / Technology and Pharmacy in the State of Maharashtra commencing in the academic year 2013-14.

Till last year, the Maharashtra Health and Technology-Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) used to be the common entrance exam for admissions to engineering, pharmacy and health sciences degree courses in the state.
However, it is now called Maharashtra Technical Common Entrance Test (MT-CET). The test will now be considered only for admissions in engineering and pharmacy courses, following the state government’s decision to join Medical Council of India's National Eligibility-Cum-Entrance Test (NEET) scheme for admissions to medical and dental degree programmes from the academic year 2013-14.
