On October 25, 2013 Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, G H Patel College of Engineering & Technology (GCET) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Texas Instruments (TI) India through Texas Instruments’s University Program partner Edgate Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore.

The MoU aims for organizing technical events in the form of workshops and Training sessions for the students and faculties to get familiar with the Texas Instruments’ products for Advanced Microcontrollers, software and other semiconductor products.

Dr. Bhaskar Thakkar, Professor and Head, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering and Mr. Gurpreet Singh, Edgate Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Bangalore are the Steering Committee members to organize technical events at GCET. A dedicate laboratory with “Texas Instruments’ Embedded Lab” title is established in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering with advanced hardware and software for conducting the lab sessions to practice Texas Instruments’ products.
