Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad organized Short Term Training Programme on May

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad had organized a short term training proramme on Emerging Trends in Industrial Relations between May 27 and May 31, 2013.

This event was open to industry professionals, faculty members, research scholars, and post graduate students from disciplines like management, economics and law. Eminent experts from IIMs and IITs and officials from leading public and private sectors have marked their presence to this event.

Assistance was also provided on request for booking of accommodation at the Executive Development Centre (EDC), MNNIT Allahabad on payment basis.

Objective of the Programme

The broad objective of the Programme is to provide practical exposure to the participants on areas like:

• Emerging issues in Industrial Relations in the manufacturing sector

• Labour legislations and their application to specific industries

• Issues related to contractual labour

• Strikes and the mechanism of conflict resolution

• Disciplinary proceedings in organizations

• Trade unions and negotiations
