Milenge 2013: Musical Fest at IMS, Ghaziabd

Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad presents its most awaited fest Milenge 2013 starts from November 18-20, 2013.

In this occasion Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad invited all PGDM & MCA student having dreams of becoming a famous singing sensation of the institute. Milenge 2013 was the show to bring out their talent and rock the stage with outstanding voice performance.

Sursangam and Raag-N- Raag both Bollywood songs based solo and Duet singing competition, were the most famous musical events of the Fest – Melange-2013: Colours of India.
Rules
• Time limit 5-6 minutes

• This is a single participant event

• Decision will be purely based on song choice & voice quality

• Participants will only be allowed to sing Hindi Songs of any category

• Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit

• No Karaoke track is allowed for the same

• Orchestra will be provided in the final round only

RAAG – N- RAAG (Vocal- Duet):

A duet song has the potential to be one of those beautiful moments in life when we can just listen with our mind and heart. To sing a duet and feel that special voice from within is truly wonderful. RAAG – N- RAAG tried to find that talent within the students which will create a heaven of sounds in the mind…….

• Time limit 6 minutes including sound set up

• This is a duet participant event (two members in a team)

• Decision will be purely based on song choice & voice quality

• Participants will only be allowed to sing Hindi Songs of any category

• Points will be deducted for exceeding the time limit

• No Karaoke track is allowed for the same

• Orchestra will be provided in the final round only

The evaluation criteria were as follows:

• Perfectness of Sur and Taal with the partner: 50%

• Choice of Song and Voice Quality of the team: 30%

• Synchronization with Orchestra: 20

Last submission was held on October 28 and screening round done on October 30, 2013.
