Microsoft's Ed-vantage Program in collaboration with JECRC Foundation

Under the aegis of Microsoft's collaboration with JECRC Foundation, students are offered to become a member of the Microsoft Certified Profession Community by clearing the Microsoft Office Specialist{MOS}(Word, Excel, Power Point- any two papers) and Microsoft Technology Associate{MTA} (Windows Operating System, Windows Server Administrator, Networking, Software Development, Web Development, HTML (App Development-any one paper).

On clearing these 3 papers students will be provided lifelong valid certificates and they will also be eligible for internship offerings under Microsoft's Ed-vantage Program.

The charges for appearing for these certifications, discounted exclusively for the students of foundation are

• MOS-Rs. 600/-

• MTA- Rs. 1500/-

Students are encouraged to participate in this certification programs to build stronger career roots.

Microsoft India launched this programme in October 2012, basis the feedback received from academic institutions, students and partners on how Microsoft can engage with them in a structured way to add more value and strengthen employability skills. The focus of this program is on below principles:

• Creating platform for continuous leaning and innovation

• Partnering with institutions and co-branding+ marketing of the value-add services to students and surrounding communities

Ed-Vantage Program brings all the academic programs, offerings and teams in Microsoft to align and deliver a single window experience to academic institutions. The program works towards bringing in synergy between students, institutions and partners by providing end-to-end exposure to them on different tools and resources.
