Meriting Process for Applicants to the Jaypee Institutes (JIIT, JUIT & JUET)

In view of large scale variation in the examination system in the country and based on the recommendations of JEE interface group (JIG), and also to maintain complete transparency in the admission procedure, it has been decided that the merit amongst applications received for admission to Jaypee Institutes shall be drawn based only on the overall All India Rank of JEE (Main) examination.

The admissions to the undergraduate programs of Jaypee Institutes (JIIT, JUIT & JUET) shall be carried out based on the merit drawn on the overall marks obtained by the applicant in the JEE main (60% minimum) and 10+2 marks score (40% minimum) of various boards, duly normalized.

Revised time schedule for meriting and counseling process for JIT:

• Last date of receipt of applications extended to : June 29, 2013

• Jaypee Merit List to be announced on : July 4/5, 2013

• Issue of Call letter through E mail, merit
announced on web site : July 5, 2013

• Issue of hard copy of counseling letters
(Through courier) : July 5-15, 2013

• Counseling : yet to declared

• Registration and Commencement of classes : August 2, 2013
