MEDSICON 2013: 3rd Annual Medical Students' International Conference at VMMC

Vardhman Mahavir Medical College & Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi in association with Indian Medical Students’ Association (IMSA) presents MEDSICON 2013 – The 3rd Annual Medical Students’ International Conference held at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College, New Delhi on August 9-11, 2013

This academic mega-event was one-of-its kind opportunity for medical students, both undergraduates and postgraduates, to interact with each other and share their vast experience. The conference provided them the chance to present their research work at an international level and become part of the global researchers’ community.

Besides the research presentations, the conference included various other academic events like the hands-on workshops on Basic Life Support, Basic Surgical Skills, Basic Clinical Skills and Scientific Paper Writing. There was a “Photo Essay & Medical Photography” competition because ‘a picture speaks a thousand words’. The “Clinical Case presentation competition and Master class” had been designed to sharpen a medical student’s clinical skills.

Other events included a national level medical quiz, debates and just-a-minute sessions. The organisers had also planned a Post-Conference Delhi tour for all the interested delegates wherein they can enjoy a day exploring the national capital in a fun and professionally-guided way!
