Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012 by Madhya Pradesh Professional Examinational Board (MPPEB): Admission Notification

Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) is a self-financed, autonomous incorporated body of State government. MPPEB is responsible for organising competitive exams for admission in state institutes to courses recognised by organisations like All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Medical Council of India (MCI), National Council for Teacher’s Education (NCTE), etc.

MPPEB invites application for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test (Pre P.G. Test) 2012 conducted for admission to Post Graduate Medical (MD & MS) Course and Post Graduate Diploma in Dental (MDS) Course in medical and dental government and private dental and medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The test centre for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test (Pre P.G. Test) 2012 is Bhopal only.

Eligibility for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012

Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test (Pre P.G. Test) 2012 is conducted for admission to Government and Private medical and dental colleges in Madhya Pradesh. Eligibility criteria for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012 is different for admission to government and private colleges.

Eligibility for admission to Government Colleges through Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012

• You must be a bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh.
• You must have passed all MBDS or DDS examination from Medical or Dental College of Madhya Pradesh. 
• You must have completed your compulsory internship from Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI) recognized institution on or before 31st March, 2012.
• If you are PG Medical student, you should be registered with M.P. State Medical Council to practice in the State of Madhya Pradesh.

Eligibility for admission to Private Colleges through Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012

• You must be citizen of India
• You must have passed all MBBS or BDS Examinations from any recognized Medical or Dental College of India. 
• You must have undertaken studies in an institution recognized by Medical Council of India (MCI) or Dental Council of India (DCI).
• You must have completed compulsory internship from a MCI or DCI recognized institution on or before 31.03.2012. 
• You must permanently be registered by Madhya Pradesh Medical or Dental Council before joining the allotted college.

Application Procedure for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012

• You can obtain an application form for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012 from MPPEB counter on cash payment of Rs.1500/- for UR & OBC and Rs.750/- for SC & ST. (Cost of Application form includes the Test Fee).
• You can also obtain application form for Medical and Dental Post Graduate Entrance Test 2012 from designated institutions.

• The In-Service candidates must submit their application forms in the prescribed format given in the Rule Book to the Director, Health Services, M.P., 4th Floor, Satpura Bhawan, Bhopal.
