The long wait is come to an end as Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha published the online application form for ‘Medhabruti Scholarship’ 2015.
Students of Odisha pursuing higher studies in the field of technical/professional education within or outside the city can now apply for ‘Medhabruti Scholarship’ awarded by Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha.
‘Medhabruti Scholarship’ is being awarded to the students whose family annual income is below 6 Lakh. However, there is special criteria for the selection of candidates for the scholarship on basis of their career mark.
Students can obtain the online application form from www.medhabruti.org . The last date to submit the online application form for ‘Medhabruti Scholarship’ is June 11, 2015. ‘Medhabruti Scholarship’
Medhabruti Scholarship’ eligibility criteria:
- Candidates must be a resident of Odisha
- Income of parents must not be more than 6 lakh per annum
- No income restriction for girl candidates
Educational qualification slab:
For the students of +2 and+3, minimum eligibility mark is
- 70% marks for boys
- 60% marks for girls
For PG Merit Scholarship, minimum eligibility mark is
- For boys candidates from Science background is 70% and from Arts/Commerce is 60%
- For girls is 60% for all streams

- Submission of application starts: May 21, 2015
- Last date of online application: June 11, 2015
- Last date of submission of hard copy at the institute: June 22, 2015
