Mechanical Fest 2014 at Integral University

Mech. Fest of IISC, Bangalore is going to be organized by Mechanical Department, Integral University from January 24-25, 2014.

As a party of this fest, Department will conduct a workshop on Automobile Mechanics & IC Engine Design. Every participant will get Software Package and Certificate of Participation at the end of the workshop from Pravega IISc Bangalore.

Mechanical Department, Integral University:

The Department of Mechanical Engineering of the Integral University was established in the year 1999. It offers degrees related to Ph.D, M.Tech. and B.Tech programmes. The department has a committed and highly experienced team of faculty members, state of the art workshop and well established laboratories of Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Manufacturing Science, Engineering Drawing, CAD/ CAM, Applied Thermodynamics, Dynamics of Machines, Materials Science, Metrology, Fluid Machinery, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Heat and Mass Transfer and Automobile Engineering.

The scope of Mechanical Engineering is ever expanding with advancement in the areas of computer aided design (CAD), robotics and flexible manufacturing systems (FMS) besides wide employment opportunities in manufacturing industries, oil and gas production companies, aeronautical field, cement industries, chemical industries, heavy machinery sector, construction field and defence. Therefore, the educational objectives for Mechanical Engineering programme are designed to cover fundamental and vital areas of importance, relevant to both industry and research.
