A unique concept of marketing Mela was conducted in PGDM branch of SIES College of Management Studies on 1st October 2013.
The Mela was organized for the subject of marketing management. Students had to select any particular brand from any sector and promote the product and also analysis of the product in the market i.e. market share, SWOT analysis, and competitor study with respect to that particular brand of product.
The Mela was a huge success. The students got a wonderful opportunity to display their creative skills and they participated with full enthusiasm. Some of the products were Dove soap and shampoo, Bata footwear, Samsung mobiles, Coca Cola, Cadbury, Band aid, Tata tea, Nerolac Paints. The faculty of the college judged the students on the basis of their creativity, knowledge of the product and data.
